This ornament was made on a 4” rough Styrofoam ball, but it can be adapted to any rough Styrofoam ball. DO NOT use a smooth foam polystyrene ball.
Materials you will need:
4” Styrofoam ball (rough kind)
- Few pearl headed pins
- Flexible tape measure
- Elmer’s Clear Glue (Elmer’s White Glue dries clear too)
- Clear Glitter (I use clear Diamond Dust glitter and put a dash of German Glass Glitter 70 grit CLEAR for extra sparkle) Any CLEAR glitter will work.
- Wooden dowel about 12” (I sharpened one end with a pencil sharpener)
- Square block of Styrofoam
- Coordinating seed beads for decorating (optional)
- One long pearl headed pin, large bead and filigree end cap
- Coordinating ribbon for bows
- Paper towels or other paper to work on
- Napkin for Decoupage
