This Decoupage Ornament Tutorial will take you through step by step on how to decoupage an ornament.  This ornament was made on a 4” rough Styrofoam ball, but it can be adapted to any rough Styrofoam ball.  DO NOT use a smooth foam polystyrene ball. Materials you will need: 4” Styrofoam ball (rough kind)
  • Few pearl headed pins
  • Flexible tape measure
  • Elmer’s Clear Glue (Elmer’s White Glue dries clear too)
  • Clear Glitter (I use clear Diamond Dust glitter and put a dash of German Glass Glitter 70 grit CLEAR for extra sparkle) Any CLEAR glitter will work.
  • Wooden dowel about 12” (I sharpened one end with a pencil sharpener)
  • Square block of Styrofoam
  • Coordinating seed beads for decorating (optional)
  • One long pearl headed pin, large bead and filigree end cap
  • Coordinating ribbon for bows
  • Paper towels or other paper to work on
  • Napkin for Decoupage
